It is aimed at NC State University Students with passions for sustainability, design thinking, and forming meaningful connections to tackle real-world social issues. Meet Elizabeth Benefield, the Social Entrepreneurship Program Manager at North Carolina State University.

She believes that social entrepreneurship is the art and science of creating entirely new ways to solve social problems, and that social innovation has at its core an explicit and central social mission aimed not at creating wealth but generating social change.
